Thanks to the search engines for reminding us the value and the duty we should do.. I make it a point that I am not wasting water. Minimum use of plastic bags is also important.This year I could not plant any tree. But we were happy that we could save a tree, in our locality last month. People from a sports club wanted to cut it down for increasing their practice area. It is a great thing to think that at least we have started to think about the environment and its greenness. It is good that everyone wants to start thinking of how we can keep our environment green. But none of them I have read has said that I do at least a tree plantation each year. I am associated with a cultural organization in our area and we do a tree plantation program each year in the first Sunday after the monsoon starts. I also admit this issue that space problem is a major problem that hinders us from doing such kind of tree planting program. It is also true that if we want we can plant and nurse at least one plant in our roof, terrace and in Verandah. So we should not say that we would do, we should say we have done.
