Another duplicate content problem to fight

I have just come across a website - Work Friendly and I don’t know what to say. SEO Webmasters have one more problem to tackle.

The background story:

I was searching for an OJR story on eyetracking where I posted a comment earlier. I just used Google to search for it. And this is what I have found:

Work Friendly google search[Click To Enlarge]

Most of the bloggers are treating WorkFriendly as a cool stuff to surf internet from office as it shows a website like a word document:

What it is all about[Click To Enlarge]

So what is the problem?

Google is indexing all the pages created by WorkFriendly (www.workfriendly.net/browse/Office2003Blue/http/www.ojr.org//ojr/stor ies/070312ruel/) and it is bound to create duplicate content issue. Do you have any doubt about that?

But, how this link is crawlable by Googlebot? That page does not have any backlink (even I have broken the URL - notice stor ies)!

What is the solution?
Use server configuration file to block the request.

And it is not alone - there are so many similar websites creating such problems.

Any other solution?

I was suffering from this problem and figured out a solution. It seems to have worked, they’re no longer showing up as 404 errors in my webmaster tools list on Google.
